2005 Grand Opening: My Wonderful Dog

My Wonderful Dog’s Grand Opening Celebration on April 9 for their new headquarters and training facility was a huge success.

The day was declared “My Wonderful Dog Day” in Portland by City Councilor, Dr. Donna J. Carr.

More than 100 people attended the event. Celebrated guests included John Hopperstad, WGME News 13 Anchor, who was Master of Ceremonies, and Congressman Tom Allen.

Demonstration trainings for the Assistance Dog program and the general dog obedience classes were provided by MWD Director, Elsa Larsen.

We all wish the organization success in their new home!
