2005 (October) Roundtables: Human Resources

The subject of this roundtable held at the Cumberland Club in Portland on October 19, 2005 was Human Resources. Topics discussed included: How to get the best employees; How best to pay them; How best to motivate them; How to maximize their tenure; and How to tell them it’s time to go (fire them).

Kathy Greenleaf, former Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Hannaford, Bros,  Vice President for Human Resources for Ben & Jerry’s, and an international consultant in human resources was on hand to offer guidelines, best practices, and to lead a lively discussion among the grantees.
